Mekeel Color Fun Run
The Mekeel Color Fun Run is our spring fundraiser that benefits each student and faculty member of our school. It is a critical event that bridges the gap between what tuition brings in and the cost of running MCA. This event is going to be on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Collins Park in Scotia. 

 

The challenge will be to complete 5 laps around the bowl in Collins Park. In the process participants will be sprayed with color during the run. Participants will have 90 minutes to complete the challenge.  K-5 will be walking/running a 1/4 mile course (5x), 6-12 grade will compete a 3/4 mile course (5x). 

 

There will be special awards/prizes earned by those brave souls who accept and conquer the "Dominie" challenge. Our founder, Dr. Herbert Mekeel, was called "the Dominie" by friends and family. This challenge will push their limits and will involve running/walking, push ups, squats, and hills!
